We’re a remote-first organisation offering a hybrid work environment. In addition to working from either the office or home, most of our roles can take advantage of our Work from Anywhere policy (working from a city outside your usual region or country outside of Australia) for up to 20 days each financial year.

We send you $AU2,000
Yes, we think it's important that those referred are comfortable having their details submitted to mx51. External referrers will need to email email@example.com to advise that they’d like to make a referral for a specific role. The People & Culture team will reach out to the referred candidate to request that they apply directly for the role.
We’ll send you a confirmation email letting you know we have received your referral. Their details will remain on our database for up to 6 months. We will be back in contact with you should the candidate be offered and commence at mx51.
If your referral starts within 6 months of being referred, we will be in contact via email to advise that your referral has been successful.
We’ll use the email address you provided us, to get in touch and confirm details of your payment. You will receive 50% of the referral bonus upon the referee’s start date and 50% upon the referee completing probation (6 months of employment with mx51).

Only individuals can make a referral (i.e. not a business entity)
To make a referral, you must be an Australian permanent resident/citizen and at least 18 years of age
We can’t accept self-referrals. We would still love for you to apply and encourage you to check out our open roles at mx51 Careers
If someone has been a recent or current contractor, temporary worker or consultant, they are excluded from the program. Similarly, anyone who has left mx51 within the last 12 months is also excluded.
For all roles, you can choose to work from home (within Australia) and/or our Sydney office. For those living in other select capital cities, you will have access to coworking facilities.
You will be provided with a laptop as well as a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (if requested) to work from home effectively.
Work from anywhere
Most of our roles will enable you to work in a different city to your home or our Sydney office. This would usually be discussed with your manager who will need to approve.
Most, but not all our roles, will allow you to work from most countries around the world for a maximum of 20 business days per financial year. We have an internal application and approval process to manage such requests.
